Summer Hill Estates is a resident-owned 55+ community of 90 homes located in the hills of Belchertown, Massachusetts. The community is defined by shared ownership, thoughtful stewardship, and respect for neighbors and common assets.
Community Life
Summer Hill Estates is more than shared ownership—it is a community. Residents may choose to take part in community-wide social activities organized by volunteers and neighbors, or simply enjoy the sense of community that develops through everyday interactions with neighbors while walking the loop roads. Events include seasonal gatherings, holiday celebrations, and informal neighbor-led activities. Many gatherings take place at the community’s large pavilion, which includes a kitchenette and restroom facilities. Participation is intended to foster friendly connection and goodwill among residents.
A Naturally Beautiful Setting
Summer Hill Estates is known for its open landscape and well-maintained grounds. Surrounded by wooded areas and set on elevated terrain, the community enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, seasonal wildlife activity, and a natural buffer from everyday traffic and noise. The Board is committed to preserving both the natural and landscaped character of the property through long-term stewardship.
